Type One Diabetes
A chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin.
Excessive thirst, Fatigue, Hunger, or sweating. Also common Blurred vision, Fast heart rate, and Headaches.
How to prevent or control type 1 diabetes
Ways to prevent type 1 diabetes is controlling blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels.
When you are diagnosed with this type of diabetes you can control it by exercising at least 2 1\2 hours a week. You also need frequent insulin injections (more than 3 times a day)
Type Two Diabetes
A chronic condition that affects the way the body processes blood sugar.
Excessive hunger, excessive thirst, weight gain, or weight loss.
How to prevent or control type 2 diabetes
To prevent having type 2 diabetes you have to tightly control your blood glucose levels.
Once you have been diagnosed the treatment includes a tight diet, exercise, medication, and insulin therapy.
